118 Table
Bocci 118 Table – Light as Presence, Not as Object
Some objects don’t demand attention.
They stand still, quietly waiting and do something almost indescribable: they bring calm.
The Bocci 118 Table is one of those objects. A table lamp without urgency, without statement yet with a presence that softens any space.
A Light Sculpture — Subtle and Alive
The 118 Table consists of a vertical, mouth-blown glass form that gently rests on a minimalist metal base. The composition feels almost accidental as if gravity and chance decided together where it should land.
The glass itself is clear and delicately irregular, with tiny air bubbles and variations that reveal the touch of the artisan. Inside, a warm core glows softly not bright, not direct, but diffused and calm, like light passing through morning mist.
A Space That Breathes
Wherever you place the 118 Table on a side table, bedside, or cabinet it doesn’t seek attention but invites atmosphere.
It frames the moment. It softens the shift from day to night, from outside to in.
The light settles into the room like a scent or a sound: it touches something essential, without needing to explain itself.
Intimate, Yet Sculptural
The 118 Table shares the same design philosophy as the larger installations in the series: light as motion, as gesture.
But here, it becomes something more personal. You see the details of the glass up close, feel the presence of the material, and experience the light not only in the room, but in relation to yourself.
It’s not just a lamp you use.
It’s a piece you occasionally look at in quiet appreciation.
